Dr. Rama Mani and Dr. Alexander Schiffer from non-profit ‘‘Homes for Humanity’, visited us in Mumbai as part of their efforts in connecting people across the world to build spaces for creative community engagement.

We collaborated with them for a 3-day workshop, which began with a meetup with our Adivasi leaders driving change in Karjat. On the second day, they met our Yuvamanthan Team with whom they conducted a workshop on creating powerful narratives to express their struggles and help build a better future.
This was followed by a visit to Raziya Ji’s Anganwadi, which supports marginalised children working and living around the dumping grounds in Mumbai. Finally, we ended the 3-day visit by planting trees at Buddha Vihar in Chembur, symbolizing our collective efforts.
Their visit left us inspired, reaffirming our commitment to nurturing communities, amplifying voices, and cultivating hope for a more inclusive and compassionate world.
